An Infinite Horizon Publishing publication

Effective October 17, 2026

An independent, questioning publication

Ultraviolet Mind is founded and edited by Jenni C. Miller and published by Infinite Horizon Publishing, the publishing business of Infinite Horizon Holdings LLC. It retains its independent literary and intellectual editorial identity.

Ultraviolet Mind explores ideas, assumptions, and overlooked connections without requiring every question to reach a tidy conclusion. Intellectual curiosity is not a substitute for evidence, and confidence is not a substitute for accuracy.

Distinguishing kinds of writing

Personal experience, reported work, research-informed discussion, interpretation, and satire should be recognizable in context. An interpretation should not be presented as settled science; an anecdote should not stand in for a universal conclusion. Dear Delusion is a satire column, not factual reporting.

Sources and uncertainty

Factual and research-based claims should be supported by sources readers can assess, with attribution for quotations and borrowed ideas. Important uncertainty, limitations, and competing explanations should not be concealed. Private conversations and private research notes are not automatically public sources.

Privacy, permissions, and rights

Before release, the editor reviews sources, privacy, and permissions. Family, medical, client, and insurance-claim information requires explicit privacy and permissions review. Private or identifying material in these areas must not be published without appropriate reviewed consent. Image rights, meaningful alternative text, and credits require attention alongside the writing itself.

Messages received by the publication are not automatically public material. Identifying or quoting a correspondent requires an appropriate permission decision, not merely receipt of an email.

Human editorial approval

Drafts, previews, and revisions remain in the private workspace. Review and approval precede an explicit manual publication decision; saving, importing, or choosing a scheduled date does not automatically release an essay. Editing a draft does not silently replace an already released version.

AI assistance and human responsibility

AI-assisted brainstorming, research organization, drafting, editing, and visual development are permitted under human editorial responsibility. The editor remains accountable for accuracy, sourcing, originality, privacy, permissions, and every publication decision.

Ultraviolet Mind does not present AI-generated material as documentary evidence, authentic photography, independently verified research, or work created through a different process.

Some writing and artwork on this site may be developed with AI assistance, and some illustrations may be AI-generated. Where the nature or extent of AI generation matters to a reader’s understanding of a particular essay or image, an additional note will accompany it.

AI output is not verification. Research-based factual claims are checked by a human editor against the underlying sources before publication. Generated or AI-assisted artwork is reviewed for rights, credits, and how it is presented. Quotations attributed to real people are verified for wording and attribution, and fabricated quotations must never be attributed to real people, including in satire.

Corrections and reconsideration

Send a correction request to ultravioletmind@infinitehorizonholdings.com, including the essay link, relevant passage, and supporting sources. Confirmed errors will be corrected. Substantive corrections affecting factual accuracy, attribution, interpretation, or meaning appear in a dated, clearly labeled correction note at the end of the affected essay. Routine spelling, punctuation, and formatting changes do not require a visible correction note. The editorial revision history is preserved. No response-time guarantee is made.

Independence and disclosures

Relevant commercial relationships, sponsorship, affiliate arrangements, or other conflicts will be disclosed clearly if introduced; none currently exist. A recommendation should not disguise a financial relationship.
